Building Permit Requirements

Guidelines and requirements for securing a Building Permit in the Municipality of Medellin.

Requirements

  • Barangay Certification (Purpose: Building / Fencing Permit)
  • Proof of Ownership (any of the following):
    • Title
    • Tax Declaration
    • Deed of Partition
    • Consent of owner (if applicant is not the owner of the land)
    • Deed of Sale
  • Tax Payment Receipt / Tax Clearance
  • Drawing Standard Plan:
    • Bill of Materials
    • Specifications
    • Structural Analysis (if building is 2 storeys & up)
    • Lot Plan
  • Zoning Clearance – DHSUD
  • DPWH Clearance (if building construction is fronting national road)
  • DENR Clearance (if building construction is near the seashore)
