The Bamboo Forest is a man-made tropical attraction located in Barangay Luy-a, Medellin, in northern Cebu. Initially planted by farmers of the Bogo-Medellin Milling Company (BOMEDCO) to support banana and sugarcane crops, the bamboo grove unexpectedly evolved into a local photo-worthy hangout spot. As interest grew, more bamboo was planted, transforming the area into a serene destination beloved by both locals and tourists
